My name is Ofega Irhirhi, founder and creative director of PHÉYGA.

Originally from Nigeria, I moved to the United States at the age of eight. Growing up as one of nine children taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and determination—qualities that continue to shape both my personal and professional journey.

​

PHÉYGA is more than a fashion brand; it is a reflection of creativity, ambition, and excellence. Through this platform, I offer a variety of services, each built on a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer experience. No matter the service, my goal remains the same: to provide quality work, honest communication, and results that exceed expectations.

My journey into fashion began in high school when I enrolled in a Fashion Design class as a junior. What started as a simple hobby quickly became a passion. That passion was validated when a skirt I designed and created was selected for the school’s annual fashion show. That experience sparked a love for fashion that has stayed with me ever since.

​

Although I stepped away from sewing for a period of time, my passion for design never faded. Recently, while preparing for the IAHBM Fashion Show, I returned to my fabrics, sketches, and sewing machines with a renewed sense of purpose. This time, I committed to pursuing fashion wholeheartedly, and I am proud of the progress I have made along the way.
